The color drop decal obsession continues!! Seriously, I just cannot get enough of this method and the endless possibilities it brings (and the part where I can get equally awesome swirls, with ease, on both hands!). The Zoya Bubbly collection polishes were simply a perfect choice for this look! I think they look a bit like stained glass, or maybe sparkly jelly fish. More after the jump. For these decals I decided not to swirl my drops. I wanted a random "blobby bubbles" look to the decals. I did everything else in the same way demonstrated in my color drops tutorial. I only skipped the part when I swirl my drops. I layered my Bubbly decals over a base of Zoya Raven. The bubbles practically jump off my nails. The black base made the sparkles and colors pop so much.
Colors used:
Zoya Raven
Zoya Stassi- glittery gilded citron green.
Zoya Alma- glittery gilded peach (shows as more yellow in this manicure).
Zoya Jessi- glittery gilded tangerine.
Zoya Muse- glittery gilded blue/teal (holding in photos). If you loved Zoya Charla, you might want to check out this shade. She is an even sparklier version of the Zoya classic.
Zoya Binx- sparkling gilded raspberry.
Zoya Harper- sparkling gilded bubblegum pink.
I love the shades in the Zoya Bubbly collection. They remind me of well- loved Zoya colors, but with a much sparklier disposition. If you were a fan of the beautiful shimmers from the Zoya Sunshine collection, then you will probably enjoy the Bubbly collection shades as well. I really love how they look when used with this method.
I'd have to say my faves from the Bubbly collection are Harper, Muse and Stassi. In the future I would love to see a beautiful shade of purple in a similar concept. I think that would be beautiful! I really adore this collection, and its playful theme. They really do have a "bubbly" quality about them thanks to all that beautiful and delicate glitter.
Which were your favorite Zoya Bubbly collection shades?
